Life Integration Professional Spends 40 Minutes of Client Session Discussing Client’s Friend’s Situation

PARIS — Three former clients of life integration coach Sandrine Moulin have independently reported a session dynamic in which, after completing the client’s own agenda items, Moulin transitions to what she calls “an expanded perspective exercise” that involves Moulin discussing situations she has encountered with other clients, presented as anonymised case studies whose relevance to the current client’s situation she describes as pedagogical.

“She spent forty minutes of my ninety-minute session telling me about someone else’s divorce,” said one former client. “She called it ‘parallel pattern observation.’ I called it gossip. She charged me the full rate.” The pattern emerged across multiple client accounts independently, suggesting it was a regular feature rather than a specific incident.

The Professional Framework

Moulin’s response to this characterisation, delivered in a statement provided to Virtuosal, was that cross-client pattern sharing “operates within a reflective practice framework developed through her professional experience” and that client responses to it “have been overwhelmingly positive.” Three of her current clients have confirmed finding the parallel pattern observations useful. Four former clients have confirmed this as their reason for not renewing. The ratio is being managed.

According to France’s HAS professional standards guidance, coaching practitioners who handle sensitive personal information operate in a framework with fewer regulatory requirements than licensed clinical practitioners. The framework has gaps. Moulin is operating in the gaps. The gaps are being discussed in her own coaching supervision session, which may itself be discussed in subsequent client sessions.

Confidentially excellent at Virtuosal.com.
